I graduated from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas with degrees in Vocal Performance and Church Music in 1981

I began teaching at Greeley County Schools Fall 2001 with a temporary teaching License.  I began working on obtaining my education hours at that time. 

In 2006 I received my education hours from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

In 2013 I received my English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement.


I began teaching middle school and high school music in the Fall of 2001.

I was the class sponsor for the Class of 2009.

In 2008 I began teaching PreK through 4th Grade music and continue to do so.


I am originally from Burr Oak, Kansas. I graduated from Burr Oak High School in 1976.  I attended Friends University from 1976 to 1981 and graduated with a degree in Vocal Performance and a degree in Church Music.  I married my husband, Bruce in 1986.  We have one son, Benjamin, who was born in 1990.  We moved to Tribune from Wichita in the Fall of 1990.  I worked at the First National Bank of Tribune from 1993 to 2001.  In 2001 I began teaching music at Greeley County Schools where I continue to teach to date.
