The 2015-2016 year was my first teaching. I am thrilled to start my career as a Greeley County Jackrabbit! I am currently working toward a teaching certification through Fort Hays State University. I have previously worked in the school district as an ESOL para in the preschool.

I teach junior high English and 8-12th grade Spanish at Greeley County Schools.

Blue Rapids, Kan., (45 miles north of Manhattan) is my hometown. I attended the University of Kansas where I earned a bachelor's degree in print journalism and a bachelor's degree in Spanish language. Through KU I completed a semester of study abroad at The University of Costa Rica.

I previously worked as a news reporter at the Garden City Telegram. I am currently continuing my education through Fort Hays State University.

Marriage brought me to the town of Tribune. My husband, Sid, and I were married in 2013. We have a son, Grady, who is 2.

I am thrilled to be part of the Jackrabbit family and take pride in my instruction and students!
