Bio

Welcome! I’m Kinzie Reiss- the agricultural teacher and FFA advisor here in Greeley County.  I’m very excited for my year in the classroom and will be teaching Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Welding, Animal Science, AgScience, Exploratory Agriculture (7-8th grade) and Agricultural Communications & Leadership. I have a strong background in production agriculture and grew up on a cattle and row crop farm in central Indiana. I was highly involved in 4-H and FFA, which helped me to obtain a livestock judging scholarship to attend college at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. After receiving my associate’s degree in Agriculture, I transferred to Kansas State University to major in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal Sciences and Industry. I student taught at Scott City High School in the spring of 2015 and graduated in May 2015 before moving out here. My husband, Dakota, grew up in Weskan and now works for Pioneer seeds as a salesman. Together with our family, we raise cattle and hogs primarily for the sale to 4-H exhibitors. We have 3 furry family members: Chuck, Izzie and  Murphy. In my spare time, I have my own photography business and enjoy traveling.  I look forward to a great year!
